Can you do on Valentine’s day without a nice Scarlet heart? Right answer is no, which means that such decoration must always appear in your home for the holiday! It’s time to unleash not only fantasy, but the gentle feelings: today we together make a heart-shaped wreath of fabric flowers. Agree, this handicraft activity actually includes all the elements of Valentine’s day.

we need:

sewing machine;
the Red threads;
iron;
stripe fabric red one and a half meters in length;
another shade of red fabric Strip length 5 feet (1,5 m);
glue gun;
the basis of foam in the shape of a heart (you can replace the basis of cardboard).

Step 1

before you start work, we need to carefully and accurately cut fabric for the future rose. To start take the first red fabric. It will need to cut them into equal strips, each length – 16-20 inches (40-50 cm) and the width is about 3 inches (7 cm). If you wish, you may adjust the size: the larger the cut, the thicker will be the rose, and the more-so it will be more. With specified sizes you need to cut 25-30 lines.

Take the fabric of another shade of red and also cut it 16-20 inches (40-50 cm) strips cm and a width of 3 inches (7 cm). Such pieces we need 25-30 PCs.

Fabric fold each strip in half and iron-you can do this by using the iron.

Stitch using a sewing machine each piece of fabric from the side edges. Stick around for the 0,2 inches (0.5 cm) from the edge. In addition, do not cut the threads of both – we need them.

Now the most responsible moment-gently pull the ends of the thread on each piece of fabric. Assemble the cut by waves, as shown below.

Lubricate the seamed edge using a glue gun and start folding the first nice napkin rose. Do this, as shown below.
