A simple handmade flower out of ribbon

Small handmade flower out of ribbons is a great decoration for children’s brooches, pins, gift packing or crafts. You can easily make such a handmade flower.

Materials

We need:

• Ribbons (the same or different colors);
• scissors;
• line;
• glue.

Step 1: Making rosebud

Measure two pieces of ribbon of 10 cm (4 in). Pieces of ribbon may be a single color or two colors, combined together.

Put pieces of ribbon on each other and glue the ends on the one hand by bending the corners as shown below.

After that, roll the ribbon with the fingers of two hands, bending edge.

The free end of the ribbon bend into rosettes and secure with glue.

Step 2: The base for the flower

Cut three pieces of tape 6 cm (2 ¼ in) in length, and three pieces of 10 cm (4 in) in length.

Glue the ends of the ribbon in the center of the ribbon.

Stick the resulting preform at each other in the order shown in the photo. First three bigger workpieces, then three smaller.
