Box with a bright surprise for mothersday

Such a bright box with a surprise is a wonderful gift for mothersday. In addition, you can give this present for birthday to mom, girlfriend and/or sister.

The box looks beautiful, as gift wrap, but the most interesting is inside. When open the box, it emitted a bright butterfly.

You will need:

cardboard
colored paper
paint
scissors
glue
ruler
pencil
parts for decoration gift

1. Prepare the cardboard and cut out 2 squares – one with a side 7,5 in (19 cm), second – 3¼ in (8 cm). These squares will play the role of box and cover.

2. From each edge of the square to retreat to 3 in (7.5 cm) to draw parallel lines.

3. Prepare the basis of the box – you need to cut the part, which is look like a cross.

4. Fold the cut out detail to make the base of the box.

5. Make the lid of the box. You need to step back from the edge of ¾ in (2 cm) – side of the cap. Next, cut and glue the lid (as shown below).

6. You can start to decorate the box inside and out. You can turn your imagination on max power. You shouldn’t touch the bottom of the box.

7. Now you need to prepare a surprise – for this you need to take a transparent strip, which will “flutter” butterfly. These stripes can be manufactured from a plastic bottle. Each strip has a length of ¾ in (1.9 cm), and a width of ¼ in (0.7 cm).

8. You need to make a few cuts in colored paper. Further, this paper should be pasted on thick cardboard. Insert into incisions transparent strips and secure them on the other side.
